廃棄物問題は自分に与えられた使命
小型焼却炉「チリメーサー」の開発
私たちの生活や事菜活動から排出されるゴミは、800度以上の温度で燃やさないとダイオキシンが発生します。それだけの高温ですから大量の化石燃料を使いますし、焼却炉はそれだけの高温に耐えるものでなければなりません。
一方で、800度以上でダイオキシンの発生を抑えたとしても、そのガスが自然に冷えるのを待っていたらダイオキシンが再合成してしまいます。そこで、燃焼時に出てきたガスは一気に200度以下まで冷やさなければなりません。
高温燃焼と急冷却という大規模なゴミ焼却場でやっていることを、庭に設置できるぐらいの小型焼却炉「チリメーサー」で実現したのが、(株)トマス技術研究所代表取締役福富健仁さんです。
福富さんは奄美大島の出身
小学校に入る前からプラモデル作りに熱中し、成長するにつれてミニ四駆、ラジコンカーに夢中になります。その理由を尋ねると「おもちゃの中でもカスタマイズができるから。今やっていることと変わらない」確かに福富さんは、処分したいゴミのお困りごとに合わせてチリメーサーをカスタマイズして納品しています。

Development of small incinerator “Chilimeser"
Garbage discharged from our daily lives and vegetable activities will generate dioxins unless it is burned at a temperature of 800 degrees or higher.
Since it is so hot, it uses a large amount of fossil fuel, and the incinerator must be able to withstand that high temperature.
On the other hand, even if the generation of dioxins is suppressed at 800 degrees or higher, dioxin will be resynthesized if the gas is waiting to cool naturally.
Therefore, the gas that comes out during combustion must be cooled to 200 degrees or less at once.
Mr. Takehito Fukutomi, CEO of Thomas Gijutsu Research Institute, Inc., realized what he was doing in a large-scale garbage incinerator, such as high-temperature combustion and rapid cooling, with a small incinerator “Chilimeser" that could be installed in the garden. ..
Mr. Fukutomi is from Amami Oshima.
He was enthusiastic about making plastic models even before he entered elementary school, and as he grew up, he became absorbed in mini 4WD and radio-controlled cars.
When he asks why
He said, “Because you can customize it even in toys. It’s the same as what you’re doing now."
To be sure, Mr. Tomi customizes and delivers the chili messer according to the problems of the garbage that he wants to dispose of.
