【Q】チリメーサー導入のキッカケをお聞かせください。
私たちの病院は、バリ島の中でも最大のベット数があり、一日で約200キロの感染性医療系廃棄物が出ます。その廃棄物を従来型焼却炉で燃やしていましたが、異臭や黒煙が凄まじく、健康被害のみならず、周辺住民からの苦情が頻繁に起こっていました。
そこで、デンパサール市美化局より、日本国JICAの ODA事業で、日本の優れた技術によって開発された無煙無臭型小型焼却炉の導入を勧められたのです。
【Q】チリメーサーの利用状況と効果はいかがでしょうか。
なんといっても最大の効果は、無煙無臭運転につきますね！
感染性医療系廃棄物は、廃プラや紙くず繊維くず、また薬品などの液体を含む、多種多様な廃棄物が混合しています。
感染性ですから分別をすることは不可能で、そのまま炉の中に入れるしかありません。
しかしこのメディカルチリメーサーは、そのような廃棄物でも、煙も匂いも出さずに、極めてクリーンに焼却処理してくれます。
正に、最も困っていたことを、この技術と製品は見事に解決してくれました！

Indonesia has a waste problem that is incomparable to Japan.
The most serious of these is infectious medical waste.
In response to that problem, Thomas developed a medical Chirimeser and went to the site.
I solved the problem brilliantly ❗️
In recognition of this, it was published as a successful example in the ODA White Paper published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and was also introduced at the Osaka Summit as a waste problem-solving technology and product that represents Japan.
[Q] Please tell us the reason for introducing Chirimeser.
Our hospital has the largest number of bets in Bali and produces about 200 kg of infectious medical waste per day. The waste was burned in a conventional incinerator, but the offensive odor and black smoke were terrible, causing not only health hazards but also frequent complaints from local residents.
Therefore, the Denpasar City Beautification Bureau recommended the introduction of a smokeless and odorless small incinerator developed by Japan’s excellent technology in his ODA project of JICA in Japan.
[Q] How is the usage status and effect of Chirimeser?
After all, the biggest effect is smokeless and odorless driving!
Infectious medical waste is a mixture of a wide variety of waste, including waste plastic, waste paper fiber, and liquids such as chemicals.
Since it is infectious, it is impossible to separate it, and there is no choice but to put it in the furnace as it is.
However, this medical Chirimeser incinerates such waste extremely cleanly without producing smoke or odor.
Indeed, this technology and product has solved the most troublesome thing brilliantly!

As you can see in the document video, our Thomas engineers have problems with poor fuel, extremely hard water quality, and frequent power outages in a completely different environment from Japan. Furthermore, we overcame various difficulties such as differences in laws and regulations, customized it to suit the local circumstances, and succeeded in this JICA ODA project.
In Indonesia, many hospitals are in the same situation and are in great trouble.
